Now this is one of the most shocking entries on the list. It is astounding that the United States has an entry on this list considering the wealth of the nation. The town has a vibrant mix of racial distribution and is the second largest city in Missouri. Even so with its population of 311,404, a total of 205 people were murdered in this area in 2017. That means for every 100,000, 65 people are estimated to be murdered.

Like Brazil, Mexico has multiple entries on this list. Culiacan is one of the most dangerous cities in the whole of Mexico. During the day Culiacan is a beautiful place to visit, but even locals do not venture out at night due to the sheer amount of crime. It is not surprising that this city has poor homicide record. For every 100,000 people in Culiacan 70 people will be murdered.
